(Clockwise from left to right) I received the SCARF-PII Media for Mental Health Awards for the story titled: ‘Is depression a well-guarded secret in the startup world’. The award was presented by the affable P Sainath, Founder Editor of the People's Archive of Rural India. This second picture is when I was part of the INKTalks team and we hosted the renowned filmmaker James Cameron. The third picture below this is from the same first conference of INKTalks where the Simpson's creator Matt Groening was also one of the speakers. Needless to say I am a big fan. The forth picture is me holding the Heroes of Bangalore trophy. I was one of the judges on the panel.
I started creative writing workshops under the YourStory banner in 2015. It was a time when people were keen to blog and wanted a helping hand. I took the participants through the fundamentals of storytelling, and also invited well-known published authors to share their experiences with the group. The picture on the left has Roopa Pai (in the middle), a well-known children's author.
In my role as the marketing head at LetsVenture, I offered storytelling workshops to portfolio companies as well as angel investors. In this picture, I presented a storytelling workshop for students of BITS Pilani.
I initiated the Sunday Herald Short Story competition during my time as the Sunday Herald Editor. In this picture are featured the three winners (standing), along with the Chief Editor Mr TN Hari, and the three judges (seated).
